` THE RALLY `

Sunday, July 18, 2010

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel"

that directs the right path throughout

2] Do you know why a Car's WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rearview Mirror is so small?
Because our PAST is not as important as ur FUTURE. Look Ahead and Move on

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, they will not last forever.

If going wrong, don't worry, they can't last long either.

5] Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold!

Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says,

"Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities;

when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8] A blind person asked Swami Vivekanand: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?"
He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are

safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you

10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrows' TROUBLES, it takes away todays' PEACE

Have a fruitful day!

Today, my kid just got sick again, the lack of sleep and massive crying at the infant care, Wife looking after, took off to work, got into an accident and a tiff with some old fart parked illegally along the road, well, old farts like to imagine shit and accuse people of shit. hai.... next week, who's gonna look after the kid, wife cant take leave, she needs money, i cant take leave, i need to clear my huge credit card bill, my parents cant look after the kid, my in-laws work happens to be important, so what now, its me going on leave again? i had to stand in for alot of leave while the 2 months wife's on probation, now that she's leaving, she cant take leave, or forced leave cuz of monetary issues, and soon its 3 months probation again.... FML.when is this ever going to end. Dear god, i pray u keep my family healthy so we can function normally in today's society. Amen.
summarize, kid's sick, big bills, car's gone, punchbag @ work, settling all the paper work at home, short of slp( cant slp due to stress), .... whats more life's going to hit me, really out of breath.

well, havent blog in a while, whats on my mind now? car's going, new one's coming, seen a flirtish reply(one of those reply that tells u to take the next step), (luckily there wasn't , or maybe there was that i did not know of,) that did not seem normal to me and a dream( nightmare ), let's see what goes on in the next few months... lets hope its all stress related thats messing with my mind. the near future seems bleak, too many thoughts in the head, too little slp, too much pondering and thinking, haiz... what a real life nightmare. lets just hope its just me going wrong. well we will see... for now, i don wanna think of too much possibilities as it seems endless. just yesterday , my collegue and i were ridiculing some laws on women overseas and god sent someone to email a forwarded msg to us, today, god send another good news about tomorrow that we were desperate for. life's a cycle? history repeats itself? well, choices are man made and i only got myself to blame. well, 23rd july's coming, and i seriously dread it, and i seriously want to make that hand stitch album, yes, its all for show, seen and be seen, my pride, my soul. well, too broke to do that kinda thing now, so i gotta put it on hold and create a soft copy version of it first.
alcohol might just be my next best friend, drunk nights too drunk to think, splitting head aches the next day prevents thinking too... oh well, just what is this uneasy feeling i have, its a feeling that makes me believe it's going to occur sooner or later? but then again, people say dreams dont come true. well, i din do my best(maybe i did, i dunno), so the rest is up to god man...

Saving is sin, and spending is virtue...
Interesting article written by an Indian Economist

Japanese save a lot. They do not spend much. Also Japan exports far more
than it imports. Has an annual trade surplus of over 100 billions. Yet
Japanese economy is considered weak, even collapsing.

Americans spend, save little. Also US imports more than it exports. Has an
annual trade deficit of over $400 billion. Yet, the American economy is
considered strong and trusted to get stronger.

But where from do Americans get money to spend?

They borrow from Japan , China and even India .
Virtually others save for the US to spend. Global savings are mostly
invested in US, in dollars.

India itself keeps its foreign currency assets of over $50 billions in US
securities. China has sunk over $160 billion in US securities. Japan 's
stakes in US securities is in trillions.

Result:

The US has taken over $5 trillion from the world. So, as the world saves for
the US, Americans spend freely. Today, to keep the US consumption going,
that is for the US economy to work, other countries have to remit $180
billion every quarter, which is $2 billion a day, to the US !

A Chinese economist asked a neat question. Who has invested more, US in
China , or China in US? The US has invested in China less than half of what
China has invested in US.

The same is the case with India . We have invested in US over $50 billion.
But the US has invested less than $20 billion in India .

Why the world is after US?

The secret lies in the American spending, that they hardly save. In fact
they use their credit cards to spend their future income. That the US
spends is what makes it attractive to export to the US . So US imports more
than what it exports year after year.

The result:

The world is dependent on US consumption for its growth. By its deepening
culture of consumption, the US has habituated the world to feed on US
consumption. But as the US needs money to finance its consumption, the world
provides the money.

It's like a shopkeeper providing the money to a customer so that the
customer keeps buying from the shop. If the customer will not buy, the shop
won't have business, unless the shopkeeper funds him. The US is like the
lucky customer. And the world is like the helpless shopkeeper financier.

Who is America 's biggest shopkeeper financier? Japan of course. Yet it's
Japan which is regarded as weak. Modern economists complain that Japanese do
not spend, so they do not grow. To force the Japanese to spend, the Japanese
government exerted itself, reduced the savings rates, even charged the
savers.

Even then the Japanese did not spend (habits don't change, even with taxes,
do they?).. Their traditional postal savings alone is over $1.2 trillions,
about three times the Indian GDP. Thus, savings, far from being the strength
of Japan , has become its pain.

Hence, what is the lesson?

That is, a nation cannot grow unless the people spend, not save. Not just
spend, but borrow and spend.

Dr. Jagdish Bhagwati, the famous Indian-born economist in the US , told
Manmohan Singh that Indians wastefully save.. Ask them to spend, on imported
cars and, seriously, even on cosmetics! This will put India on a growth
curve. This is one of the reason for MNC's coming down to India , seeing the
consumer spending.

'Saving is sin, and spending is virtue.'

But before you follow this neo economics, get some fools to save so that you
can borrow from them and spend!!!

My kid's been sick for quite some time, have just reversed the duty roles with my wife. seriously, i run up and down all day, i carry my kid all day long, teaching her funny stuff and laughing for no reason, its really happy, (without disturbance from outside) and i really am totally cool with this man, it''s god's way of giving me a break, my wife had a new job, kid got sick, so i ended up being the one taking the massive leave of one month, and it feels really good, lots of bonding time with my kid, real handful, i don have much time to eat let alone slp during the day, but managed to sneak some time to blog today. one of the things about being a parent is that you worry too much, and the thing about worrying to much is failure to believe, believe in your child. take for example, medicine, giving dose after dose, does it bring more harm then good or the other way ard? Believe in your kid, (the smart way,not cuz of ego), i am in a situation of after being so old, a parent, and yet my own parent did not believe in my ability to reason and think rationally. It just struck me, this feeling sux, and here's the thing, i know the medicine very well, but, i felt emotionally safer trusting the doctor then my own views and instincts? Although believing is one thing, the consequences might differ from different situations.
By the way, 15/05/10 was a real great nite! :)

hurray! to Po*n land! - the difference between chinese n japanese women- asia one;

1.

Japanese women often teach their children to bravely fight the forces of evil, and even if they lose, it is still infinitely glorious, the highest honor.

Chinese women often teach their children that when they encounter the forces of evil they must be good at hiding/running away/avoiding. They say that God will punish them [the forces of evil].

2.

Japanese women believe Japan is the world’s greatest country.

Chinese women usually believe that the moon may be rounder abroad ["the grass is greener"].

3.

Japanese women usually believe marrying foreigners is a kind of disgrace.

Chinese women usually feel that marrying foreigners is a kind of infinite glory.

4.

Japanese women are normally lady-like, but dirty in bed.

Many Chinese women are lady-like in bed, but dirty out of bed.

5.

Most Japanese women abide by the rules of a woman, supporting her husband, raising her children, dutifully.

China is the world’s number one country for one-night stands and extramarital affairs.

6.

Japanese women are almost all very filial, seeing their mother-in-law as their own mother.

Most Chinese women are all too eager for their mother-in-law to quickly die.

7.

Japanese wives treat their husbands with encouragement and concern. Returning home late at night exhausted at the end of a day, the wife will say “you’ve had a tough day.”

Chinese wives treat their husbands with complaints and scolding. Returning home late at night exhausted at the end of a day, the wife will roar “where the hell did you go this time?”

8.

Most young Japanese girls will find a man who is around their age to marry, and make a life with him together.

Young Chinese girls always find a wealthy “old” man, and don’t mind even being his Nth mistress/wife.

9.

Japanese mothers teach their daughters to look after their husbands, and diligently be filial to her parents-in-law.

Chinese mothers teach their daughters that they must keep firm control of all the man’s assets.

10.

Japanese women can tolerate men without money [poor men], but definitely cannot tolerate cowardly and weak men.

Chinese women can tolerate cowardly and weak men, but definitely cannot tolerate men without money.

11.

Japanese women see manly men as the most charming men.

Chinese women see manly men as male chauvinists.

12.

Most Japanese women are very lenient towards men’s infidelity.

Most Chinese women are very lenient towards their own infidelity.

13.

Japanese women almost never say bad things about Japanese men in public or in the media.

Chinese women always loudly curse and mock Chinese men on various media.

14.

The first words of Japanese women on their wedding night is: “If I do not look after/service you well tonight, please be forgiving.”

The first words of Chinese women on their wedding night is: “Hurry and see how much money was received today.”

here's to ending the week!

Papa Roach Between Angels & Insects Lyrics

There's no money there's no possessions
Only obsession I don't need that shit
Take my money take my obsession

I just want to be heard loud and clear are my words
Coming from within man tell them what you heard
It's about a revolution in your heart and in your mind
You can find a conclusion lifestyle and obsession
Diamond rings get you nothing but a life long lesson
And your pocketbooks stressing
You're a slave to the system working jobs that you hate
For that shit you don't need
It's too bad the world is based on greed
Step back and see
Stop thinking about yourself start thinking about

There's no money there's no possession only
Obsession I don't need that shit
Take my money take my possession take my obsession
I don't need that shit

Because everything is nothing
And emptiness is in everything
This reality is really just a fucked up dream
With the flesh and the blood that you call your soul
Flip it inside out it's a big black hole
Take your money burn it up like an asteroid
Possession they are never gonna feel the void
Take it away and learn the best lesson
The heart the soul the life the passion

There's no money there's no possession
Only obsession I don't need that shit
Take my money take my possession take my obsession
I don't need that shit

Money possession obsession
Present yourself press your clothes comb your hair
And clock in
You just can't win just can't win
And the things you own own you
Nooooooooooooo

Take my money take my possession take my obsession
I don't need that shit
Fuck your money fuck your possession fuck your
Obsession I don't need that shit
Money possession obsession I don't need that shit

was listening to : papa roach last resort today... wow its been a long time man...

Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation
No breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding

This is my last resort

Cut my life into pieces
I've reached my last resort
Suffocation
No breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding
Do you even care if I die bleeding
Who did me wrong
Who did me right
If I took my life tonight
Chances are that I might
Mutilation outta sight
And I'm contemplating suicide

'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

I never realized I was spread too thin
Till it was too late
And I was empty within
Hungry
Feeding on chaos
And living in sin
Downward spiral where do I begin
It all started when I lost my mother
No love for myself
And no love for another
Searching to find a love up on a higher level
Finding nothing but questions and devils

'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me in fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright
Nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying

I can't go on living this way

Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation
No breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding
Who did me wrong
Who did me right
If I took my life tonight
Chances are dynamite
Mutilation outta sight
And I'm contemplating suicide

'Cause I'm losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight
Losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright
Nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying

I can't go on living this way
Can't go on
Living this way
Nothing's alright

the recent roar of the boxer engine, Bov going BISH BISH BISH with multiple tapping of the accelerator, going down 2 laps.... screeching tires, burning metals, clutch, brakes, rubber.....stinking the whole car up, with no air cons, windows shut and a massive amount of bass going in the back ground.... on the way to the china embassy to get documents processed... nostalgic times.... anyway, yep, realize i needed to make some changes to the current set up as my "self tuned" settings seemed to be higher and... yep, new parts on the plane right now.... its coming!!!! woot! its gonna be so much better to drive when the new parts arrive, next, would be to replace soon spoiling sus and tyres.... and yes the clutch again..... AMEN! fly baby fly!!!

caliber 16 or 17? i think16... nice watch, just found it on an old lappy.... this one's the limited edition for the F1 race, but i think the normal edition looks better with the red threads and checkered face.... and yes, i am bored and procrastinating again... what else ;)
